my 60's Christmas Special!
Here's some
details of my 60's Christmas tree!
Over the years, I've sent extra bodies
to my chromer and candy painted up a few but had several left over so,
I thought they'd look great painted in candy colors and displayed as an
ornament. JL also had some candy chrome cars and I used a few of
them too. I molded a special chassis for these cars so they would
be lightweight and also have both long & short wheelbase axles.
The molded chassis has the guide pin, crown gear, pickup shoes and axles
all molded in place too. I then, took a silver and copper color paint
pens and quickly painted the details. See below.
